  • Jesika

    ​Jesika has been with C.C. Young for about 5 years. She started out as a diet aide working for Thomas and Blanton buildings. She later went on to work as a server for about a year where she participated in caterings and other events along with working The Point Cafe. She was then promoted to healthcare supervisor where she spent a little over a year. Soon after she was offered a job with Morrison to be Dining Room Manager, where she has been learning and growing for the past 2 years. She enjoys her job and looks forward to what the future holds. 

  • Valarie

    ​I am Valarie Breaux MS, RD, LD and I am the Regional Clinical Nutrition Care Manager for the Flayer Region and the Nutrition Care Manager for CC Young.  I graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2008 and completed my combined Master's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetic Internship at Texas Woman's University-Houston in 2009.  I enjoy working with senior living residents because I get a chance to learn life lessons from them while helping them enjoy a great quality of life.

  • Emily

    ​Emily has been with C.C. Young for almost 3 years. She started out as our Hospitality Manager and within a short amount of time was promoted to Assistant Director. What you may not know about her is that she attended Johnson & Wales University in Denver, CO and has an associated degree in culinary arts and also minored in Hospitality and Hotel Management. In her free time she enjoys cooking and spending time with family.

  • Chef Arvy

    Chef Arvy is the newest member of our dining services management team. He is the Executive Chef of Assisted Living. His  Culinary Education consisted of on-the-job training straight out of high school into large hotel/casinos in Las Vegas as an apprentice. He spent many years training under several of the high profile Chefs at the time and continued his apprenticeship in Gourmet Restaurants including large catering operations. He has lived in Las Vegas, NV., Blackhawk, CO., San Antonio, TX., Los Angeles, CA., St. Louis, MO. And now Dallas, Tx. He has great passion for what he does and looks forward to greater things.

  • Chef Ajax

    ​Chef Ajax started his career as a dishwasher in 1993 at the Embassy Suites Hotel, then promoted to line cook. After that he became a PM line supervisor and continued his hard work and became a Sous Chef and Executive Chef in multiple hotels and restaurants. A little over 5 years ago Morrison gave him the opportunity to work in Community Living and it was the best decision he's ever made.

  • Chef Rickita

    Chef Rickita started out working at Atria Grapevine retirement community while attending culinary school, graduated from Le Cordon Bleu with an associates degree in culinary science. After graduation she moved to a lead cook position, followed by a position at a hotel as a Sous Chef and then came to Morrison. She loves trying new food, going to brunch, playing basketball, meditating, and making others happy through food. ​
